Goodbye Steve Jobs, we will miss you
Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple died on 5th October, 2011. The news came the day after Apple announced its latest version of the iPhone, named iPhone 4S.
Apple's board of director said in a statement "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."
The technology icon gifted world three of the most popular and advance technologies, digital music player iPod, touch-screen mobile device iPhone and touch-screen tablet PC iPad.
Jobs was fighting a type of pancreatic cancer from 2004 and underwent a liver transplant in 2009. Steve Jobs resigned from the job of CEO of Apple and handed the crown to present chief executive Tim Cook.
Jobs started Apple in a garage in 1976 with a high school friend. He was forced out from Apple a decade later and returned back in 1997 to rescue the company. During his second stint, Apple grew rapidly and become most valuable technology company in the world with a market value of $351 billion.
"Three apples have changed the world. One seduced Eve, second awakened Newton, the third one was in the hands of Jobs." This was one of the most widely circulated messages in social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter and signifies importance of creation Steve.
