List of planets discovered outside our solar system made 500 entry

The number of planets discovered outside our solar system reaches 500 as on 19th November 2010 Extrasolar Planets Encyclopedia confirmed more than 500 entries. Though planet outside solar system was discovered about 20 years ago, recently the number of such planets increases rapidly due to advancement of observational techniques. The Hubble space telescope and Spitzer space telescopes, the Keck Interferometer and European Space Agencies COROT satellite helped to discover many such planets in recent time.
