Total lunar eclipse on 25 April 2014

A total lunar eclipse will take place on 15th April, 2014. This is the first of two total lunar eclipses in 2014.

A lunar eclipse can occur only at full Moon. Lunar eclipses occur when Earths shadow blocks the light from Sun, which otherwise reflects off the Moon.


Lunar eclipses look approximately the same all over the world and happen at nearly same time.

The times displayed might be a minute or two off actual times.
